Engagement sessions
An engagement session is a relaxed photo shoot for the two of you before the wedding. It is a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and to have photos for save-the-dates, invitations or just for yourselves. Ask us about booking one together with your wedding.

Send your date
Tell us the date and the place. We reply the same day during working hours and tell you whether the date is free.

Meet and discuss
We meet to talk through your day, the timeline and what you want from the photo and the film.

Choose a package
Photo, video or both for 4, 8 or 10 hours. We can adjust the hours to fit your day.

Sign and pay the deposit
We put what we agreed on into the agreement: the package, the hours and the date. The first 35% is a non-refundable deposit that books your date; the rest is paid before the wedding, 35% and 30%.

Your wedding day
We are with you for the hours you booked, from the first moments to the last dance.

Delivery
Edited photos come in an online gallery, together with a highlight film. Delivery time depends on your package and is agreed in the agreement.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a wedding photographer and videographer cost in Winnipeg?+
KOOMA offers 4, 8 and 10 hour wedding packages, priced before taxes. Photo only: 4 hours $1,000, 8 hours $1,900, 10 hours $2,300. Video only: 4 hours $1,200, 8 hours $2,300, 10 hours $2,800. Photo and video together: 4 hours $1,800, 8 hours $3,400, 10 hours $4,000. Extra hours are $300 per hour for photo and $350 per hour for video. How does wedding payment work?+
The total is paid in three parts before the wedding day: 35%, 35% and 30%. The first 35% is a non-refundable deposit that holds your date.
What is included in the 10-hour photo and video package?+
Ten hours of coverage, with one person shooting both photo and video, up to 1,000 edited photos delivered in an online gallery, and a highlight film of up to 12 minutes with music and the sound of your vows and speeches. An engagement session and a 60-second social media clip are included as gifts.
Do you offer engagement sessions?+
Yes. An engagement session is a relaxed one-hour shoot before the wedding. It is free with the 10-hour photo and video package and can also be booked on its own for $300 plus taxes.
Where do you shoot weddings?+
KOOMA is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We photograph and film weddings in Winnipeg, and travel outside Winnipeg for an additional fee. Send us your date and location for a quote.
How quickly do you reply to an inquiry?+
We reply the same day if you write during working hours.
How far in advance should we book?+
It varies: some couples book a month ahead and some a year ahead. Send us your date and we will tell you whether it is available.
